Recently, our nation's attention was focused on women's rights as we recognized the 75th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment.

There was much media coverage of this important historical event, but sadly none of the coverage I observed included reference to Spiritualism and its great influence on women's rights in 19th century America.

There are many reasons for this oversight.
