WA: Teen dies in stabbing
PERTH, June 9 AAP - A teenager has died after being stabbed in the heart during a fightat a Perth internet cafe.
A 16-year-old affiliate of the Spider Boys gang died early yesterday after being stabbedwhile playing internet games at Cafe Planet in suburban Bentley.
Also wounded in yesterday's attack was a 22-year-old offduty policeman who was slashedon the forehead with a 25cm ornate dagger as he tried to fight off the youth's attacker.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the attack.
Earlier this year Spider Boys member 17-year-old Quan Tran was killed.
Tran was stabbed to death at Hyde Park, Perth in front of about 1,000 people at a VietnameseNew Year Celebration in February.
A 21-year-old M'bros gang member, Anh Phong Tran, has been charged with wilful murderand unlawful wounding following the Hyde Park murder.
